You can put the game wherever you want on your computer, but the desktop is probably the easiest and most convenient place.

To run the game go into its folder and click on the exec/exe

(Small note for mac users: If you aren't using a retina display, you may need to input twice your correct resolution in setup. I can't find a way to detect retina vs non retina displays, so the game automatically runs at half-res on mac)
